Diary Study Group: Reading Assignment 43

Reflect and Comment on each passage

“848 While I was saying the chaplet, I heard a voice which said, Oh, what great graces I will grant to souls who say this chaplet; the very depths of My tender mercy are stirred for the sake of those who say the chaplet. Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come (230) the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them.”

“1396 Today I heard a voice in my soul: Oh, if sinners knew My mercy, they would not perish in such great numbers. Tell sinful souls not to be afraid to approach Me; speak to them of My great mercy.

1397 The Lord said to me, The loss of each soul plunges Me into mortal sadness. You always console Me when you (36) pray for sinners. The prayer most pleasing to Me is prayer for the conversion of sinners. Know, My daughter, that this prayer is always heard and answered.”

  1. 848: so the Chaplet Christ gave us, gives us graces and blessings from Christ Himself, that in itself gives me great hope. His Mercy is a sign of the “end times “ followed by the “day of justice”; can I accept His Mercy before His justice? I pray that I do.
1396: is this a call to all of us to broadcast the message of Divine Mercy?
1397: I am humbled when I think about Christ’s love for each one of us, especially with regard to the loss of one soul. I will pray for the conversion of sinners to hopefully please Him.
